Our Story
MINDBLOM ACADEMY began with a simple yet powerful idea: that every student deserves the chance to truly understand and enjoy math. Founded by a team of dedicated educators and math lovers, our journey started with a shared concern—traditional classrooms often don’t provide the personalized support or moral grounding students need to thrive.
We created MINDBLOM as a response: a tutoring platform focused entirely on math, designed to meet learners where they are. Through tailored one-on-one sessions and engaging group classes, we offer not just academic guidance but also a learning experience rooted in integrity, curiosity, and confidence.
We uphold that education should build both sharp minds and strong character. Our story is one of passion, purpose, and the belief that when students are supported ethically and individually, they don’t just succeed—they flourish.

With over 27 years of experience as a CEO in the business world in Canada and Saudi Arabia, and an MBA focused on adaptive learning, Mr. A. Sobhani brings a unique blend of strategic vision and educational passion to MINDBLOM Academy.
Driven by a deep commitment to his own children’s development and a fascination with the transformative power of AI in education, Mr. Sobhani is devoted to building an inclusive, global learning environment. He believes strongly in project-based learning and the Socratic method, combining these timeless approaches with cutting-edge AI tools to help each student uncover their talents and grow into the best version of themselves.

FOUNDER + LEAD TUTOR MATH
George H. Alai is the founder and general manager of MINDBLOM Tutoring Academy—a vision realized after more than 30 years of international experience and a lifelong passion for education. He holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the renowned Delft University of Technology, along with postgraduate research work in Advanced Design Engineering, bringing both deep expertise and a multidisciplinary perspective to his work.
From an early age, Mr. Alai was drawn to mathematics, spending countless hours exploring its foundations and seeking creative, out-of-the-box solutions rather than conventional ones. After turning sixteen, he consistently excelled in mathematics through to his postgraduate studies, fueled by a deep curiosity and passion for innovative thinking.
Throughout his career—spanning fields such as engineering, innovation, and design—Mr. Alai has held leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East. His broad exposure to diverse cultures and global perspectives has shaped his strong belief in the transformative power of education—and beyond that, in the value of consultation.
Recognized for his visionary thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership, he has a unique talent for overseeing projects from concept to completion. Yet, his true passion lies in teaching and mentoring the younger generation. Through MINDBLOOM ACADEMY, he is dedicated to helping students develop a love for mathematics and mechanics, while fostering the highest standards of human excellence—rooted in nobility, virtue, and ethical conduct.
Fluent in English, Dutch, German, and Farsi—with working knowledge of French, Hungarian, and Arabic—Mr. Alai is a truly global educator. His interests extend beyond academics into architecture, innovation, design, and the arts. As both a tutor and an advocate for meaningful education, he is committed to shaping a generation of learners who are not only knowledgeable but also principled and inspired.
LEAD BIO & CHEM + PR MANAGER
LEAD PHYSICS + TECH SUPPORT MANAGER
Abd Almonaem Al-Bustanji is a theoretical physicist, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Jordan. He has also worked as a laboratory supervisor in the Department of Physics at the University of Jordan. His scientific interests focus on high energy physics and mathematical physics. Recently, he has been working on a research project related to Hilbert fiber bundles in the weak gravity regime.
Mr. Al-Bustanji started teaching physics and math a few years ago to inspire younger students to develop a passion for the physical phenomena that surround us. In his free time, he loves to conduct research on the deeper understanding of mathematical physics, which he plans to publish for the broader community to enjoy. He has also created numerous educational videos on advanced physics topics that are available online. He has a thriving passion for technology and digitalization, which is why he is often asked to solve complex software and hardware issues—no problem is too difficult for him to resolve.
In short, Mr. Al-Bustanji is a researcher at heart, enjoys ethics in the workplace, and is a committed advocate for raising children with respect for their elders. He champions a deeper understanding of the world through education, hard work, and perseverance. In the near future, he plans to pursue a Master’s degree to continue advancing his academic and research journey.
